Pointing Summary

For each field, the corrections add like regular numbers:  for example:

coord = -5 
correction = +2
new coord = -5 +2 = -3

etc.


SPARO coordinates refer to those listed under 'Plans' on website

Actual coords given by Gezari (1982), with accuracy of +-0.2s(RA), +-15s(Dec).  The coords were determined by finding the halfway point of the two peaks in the paper:

peak I(North):  17h 17m 32.5s    -35d 42' 30"
peak I:         17h 17m 32.5s    -35d 44' 00"

After the midpoint was found, the result was converted from B1950 to J2000 coordinates.


Pointing determined by program pointing3.m, with accuracy of ~1', as determined by gaussian fitting assuming 4' fwhm
