A first guess at the Sgr B2 CDCC
-
When you go to SgrB2 the first thing you have to do is to point at sky
position SgrB2(MAX) and do a pointing check, and then iteratively find the
CDCC that will place Sgr B2 precisely centered in your pixel 5.
-
This is done by trial and error, but you need a starting
point. You can make a guess based on what is on the pointing
document on the web:
-
RCW 57 at -60 degrees dec: MDCC = (209 arcmin; -72 arcmin)
-
RCW 108 at -48 degrees dec: MDCC = (204 arcmin; -71 arcmin)
-
SgrB2 at -28 degrees dec: CDCC => (195 arcmin; -69 arcmin)
-
In the units that the script expects this is
-
xoffset = 3.25 (degrees)
-
yoffset = -1.15 (degrees)
