Tilt data from 06/26/00, tracking SgrB2.



The data is fit to a sine function of the form

SPO = average + amplitude*sin(2*pi(t + phase))

(note the sign on the phase, which may be opposite what you're used to).

The "arb-az" given is the location in arbitrary-az of the point (1-phase), i.e. where sin = 0 and cos = 1.

In this case the RA has no curve because the fit from the least-squares scripts is clearly bad (i.e. comes no where near fitting the actual shape of the curve). The average shown is both (within 1 part in 100) the average given by both the script and a simple average of the data.
